Two new oral contraceptives are hitting the market...Cyclessa from Organon and Yasmin from Berlex.

Cyclessa is a new low-dose triphasic oral contraceptive. It contains less estrogen than Tri-Cyclen and other triphasic pills.

Cyclessa tablets contain 25 mcg/day of ethinyl estradiol...plus 0.1, 0.125, and 0.15 mg/day of desogestrel in each phase.
