Ciba Vision will soon introduce a new eyedrop for glaucoma called Rescula (unoprostone).
Rescula is a prostaglandin analogue...similar to Xalatan (latanoprost). These drugs lower intraocular pressure by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour.
Rescula seems to work as well as timolol...but it's NOT as effective as Xalatan.
