There's now a hemoglobin A1c test for HOME use called ChoiceDM A1c Home Test

There's now a hemoglobin A1c test for HOME use called ChoiceDM A1c Home Test. It's the same as the A1cNow test that's used in some physicians' offices.

Previous A1c home tests allowed patients to take a blood sample at home...but it had to be mailed to a lab for results.

The new test is done completely at home...costs about $20 and is as accurate as standard lab tests.
